SDHD is active in preparing foDrive Thru Clinicr and responding to emergencies that occur in Woodbury County and our region in northwest Iowa.

Emergency preparedness is a community effort and SDHD plans with local health care providers, hospitals, and emergency planners and responders on a regular basis. We plan, train, collaborate, exercise and support each other’s unique roles in helping our community navigate emergencies. SDHD is also a member of the local Joint Information Center (JIC) that help coordinate communications during emergencies.
