The I-Smile™ Oral Health Program’s mission is to increase the number of children in Iowa with a dental home.

Children ages 0-21 qualify for I-Smile™ services.  

I-Smile™ Services Provided

• All services provided are free of charge
• Dental screenings and fluoride varnish applications
• Dental Sealant applications
• Silver Diamine Fluoride treatment for early decay
• Oral hygiene and dental nutritional counseling
• Completing school dental screening certificates
• Care coordination for families such as:
  • Finding a dentist
  • Understanding or acquiring dental insurance
  • Identifying other payment options
  • Scheduling dental appointments
  • Answering general oral health questions
